The community of Dean’s Chapel, a settlement of a few hundred people just west of Henagar, has a rich history dating back to the Civil War. For the past two years, recovering and binding that history has been the personal mission of Dean’s Chapel native Theresa Moore. |

Founded in 1917, the Lions Clubs organization is best known to many for its fight to eradicate blindness and for the handmade brooms the group sells to raise money for the blind and visually impaired. But the Lions do much more. Clubs from all over the world also work together in an effort to meet the humanitarian needs of millions. |
